Paul Simon Songbook – April 19+20
On April 19 & 20th, Aaron will join Paul Simon and Wynton Marsalis at Jazz at Lincoln Center for ‘The Paul Simon Songbook‘ benefit. This unique and historic collaboration will feature performances of the songs of Paul Simon, with Aaron joining Wynton and Paul Simon and his band onstage for select songs.

Happy New Year!

Aaron is starting 2012 off right by hitting the road for shows with his Quintet in Shreveport & Vinton, LA and Celtic Connections in Glasgow, Scotland. Following, Aaron has three Duo shows with pianist, Michael Goods in Milwaukee, WI, Akron & Middletown, OH.

Jazz Fest Announcement
Like many years before, the Aaron Neville Quintet will be performing at this year’s legendary New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival during the second weekend of the festival.

New Shows Announced
Aaron and the Quintet are on the road sharing the Christmas spirit around the country. It’s been a great first week of the tour and we can’t wait to see everyone on the rest of the dates!
We’ve just announced more shows for next year, head over to the Tour Dates page for all the details. In January, the full band will visit Shreveport & Vinton, Louisiana and then Scotland later in the month. In the beginning of February, Aaron and pianist Michael Goods will visit Milwaukee and Ohio for a series of Duo shows.

Later…with Jools Holland on BBC
Aaron appeared on the acclaimed BBC show ‘Later…with Jools Holland’ today, airing live on BBC and again on Friday evening.
Aaron is joined by guitarist Keb’ Mo’ and Jools Holland himself on piano for a wonderful performance of “I Am A Pilgrim,” watch the video below:

European Shows & Christmas Tour Tickets On Sale
Next week Aaron is bringing his Quintet overseas to perform 3 shows at the Aalener Jazz Fest in Aalen, Germany, then two shows with Keb’ Mo’ at AVO Session in Basel, Switzerland and at the Barbican in London, England, a 3-day mini tour beginning on Saturday, November 5th. Aaron will also be appearing solo on ‘Later…with Jools Holland‘ airing live BBC on Tuesday, Nov. 8th, then re-airing on Friday, Nov. 11th. Other guests on the show include Lou Reed & Metallica, Steve Earle and more. More info here.

Christmas Tour Announcement & More
It may still be summertime, but Aaron is already thinking about his annual Christmas Tour. Beginning on November 25th, Aaron and his Quintet will hit the road again, spreading the Christmas spirit around the country. Head over to the Tour Page for details and ticket links.
There are also a couple of new Duo shows announced, in Lafayette, LA on September 28th (on sale 9/1) and Little Palm Island, FL on Oct. 19th. These shows feature Aaron performing in a stripped-down setting with his pianist Michael Goods. More info here.
