University of Notre Dame’s 2015 Laetare Medal

On May 17th, the University of Notre Dame will honor Aaron with the Laetare Medal, the oldest and most prestigious honor given to American Catholics. Announced each year on Laetare Sunday (today, the fourth Sunday in Lent) and established in 1883, the medal has been awarded annually at Notre Dame to a Catholic “whose genius has ennobled the arts and sciences, illustrated the ideals of the Church and enriched the heritage of humanity.”
